Keyword Blogging for SEO

You really can’t get around the fact that if you want to increase traffic to your website, you have to do some work. Two things at the top of the list are blogging and organic search engine optimization. Doing either one will improve your chances at generating search engine traffic, but if you do them BOTH, then that’s even better. And if you do them BOTH AT THE SAME TIME, then you’ve really got a winning combination!

SEO starts with the process of keyword research to identify a basket of target search queries for which your website should be optimized. A web page can only be optimized for a couple of keywords. So what you will find is that there is a pretty limited number of keywords you can use initially. This is where blogging comes into play as an SEO mechanism.

If you blog regularly, then you are ahead of the curve because you are creating new content to feed to Google for display in search results. But it seems that most blog owners (especially small business owners) blog without concern for keywords. They are missing out on an opportunity to more proactively generate search traffic.

So how do you do this? First return to your basket of keywords. Identify some of the ones that you really didn’t have room for when you initially optimized your website. And then come up with a list of blog topic ideas that work with those keywords. I’m not saying to just write for search engines. Writing that is only done for SEO purposes tends to read poorly. The idea is still to write for people about topics that will be of interest to your target market, but strategically incorporate your target keywords. It can be tricky, but the more you do it, the better at it you will get.

When you add the topics as blog posts, use the keywords in the titles and a couple of times in the copy. If you can use it in a header, that is a good idea as well. Also, be strategic with your blog post URLs. If you use WordPress, make sure you have permalinks set up properly, and shorten the URLs to just the target keywords.

If you do this regularly, you will build up a catalog of keyword-optimized content, and Google will return to your site often looking for new content to index. Monitor your Google Search Console chart, and you will see an upward trend in your search impressions. Eventually more impressions will generate more clicks. https://nugenerationxhp.com/shop/
